A reliable transport quotation starts with reliable data. The more complete your initial enquiry, the faster and more accurately we can price the job. Below is a checklist of what we need to prepare a firm offer.
The 6 key details
- Collection point — Postcode, city and country of the sender, ideally with the exact loading address.
- Delivery point — Postcode, city and country of the consignee. If there are multiple drop-off addresses, please list them all.
- Cargo type and weight — What is being shipped? How many pallets or packages? Total weight in kilograms.
- Dimensions / loading metres — Pallet dimensions (L x W x H) or the number of loading metres required.
- Collection and delivery dates — Preferred pickup date and delivery date or time window.
- Special requirements — ADR / hazardous goods, temperature control, tail lift, timed deliveries, advance notification.
How to speed things up
If you include all the above details with your first enquiry, we can normally return a firm quotation within one working day. Incomplete information leads to follow-up questions and delays the process.
